Charles Thrower

Charles Thrower, age 71, of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021 in Memphis, TN. Charles was born January 24, 1950 in Charlotte, NC. He was a printer for 18 years with multiple local companies and retired in March of 2017 from FedEx Express after 20 years. He loved his family, traveling, his many pets and his GREEN BAY PACKERS!!!!

He is preceded in death by his parents James Edward Thrower, Sr. and Betty Furr Thrower, Brother James Edward Thrower, Jr., Sister Anita Thrower Gill and nephew James Edward Thrower, III.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Barbara Berner Thrower, his son Nathan (Whitney) Thrower, his daughter Laura (Josh) Windsor, his seven grandchildren and countless other family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (3700 N. Germantown Road Bartlett, TN 38133) on Thursday, November 18th at 2:00pm with a visitation to be held prior from 12:30pm to 1:30pm inside the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers gifts in memory may be offered to Mowat-Wilson Syndrome Foundation at Mowat-Wilson.org/support in honor of Charles (Lynn) Thrower.
