Rossville - CHARLOTTE “Lila” T. BICKNELL, 79, of Rossville, TN went to be with the Lord on August 16, 2011. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Joseph Marion Bicknell. She leaves a son, Lewis Bicknell and his wife Denise Bicknell; a sister, Shirley Anderson; a brother, Don Tillman; four grandchildren, Shannon Shawn, Zack Bicknell, Josh Bicknell and Madison Bicknell; two great-grandchildren, Michael Greer and Ava Newton. She was a member of Piperton Baptist Church. Lila was a sweet and loving mother and grandmother who was a homemaker that loved to cook and spend time with her family and friends. A Celebration of Lila’s life will be held Monday, August 22 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Memorial Gardens at 3700 N. Germantown Parkway. The family requests that memorials be directed to Piperton Baptist Church.
