

Clyde H. Murdock was born in Sherman, MS on July 24, 1915. He was 97 years old, and passed away October 12, 2012 at Kirby Pines Retirement Community, where he has been a resident for the past four years. Clyde served in the United States Army during WWII. He owned Murdock Printing Company in Memphis for twenty years. Then he was called to the ministry as a Superintendent of Charleston Union Mission in Charleston, WV. He then retired to Ft. Lauderdale, FL, where he and his beloved wife, Maggie, resided until he moved back to Memphis, TN where he lived until his death. Clyde is survived by his two daughters, Margo Peterson and Cathy Zuckerman Dee plus eight granddaughters, four great grandsons and a great granddaughter. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 19 from 10 -11 am, funeral service and interment will follow visitation at 11 am all will be at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Germantown Road. A memorial service will also be held on Friday at 2 pm at Kirby Pines Retirement Community, 3535 Kirby Road in Memphis.
