Dallas was born in Memphis. He founded Detail Distribution in Memphis and worked there until his retirement. He loved the company and the associates that worked closely with him over the years.
It was always his dream to own his own business and to have accomplished that was something he was very proud of.
He had a big heart and was always helping someone in need. In his earlier years he enjoyed camping, fishing, and time on the lakes in Arkansas. He was nicknamed "Moose" as a child, and it stuck with him throughout his life with family and close friends.
Dallas was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Coker Woolsey; father, Carl Sharp and brother Sidney Sharp.
Dallas is survived by his sister, Reese Ferrell of Brownsville, TN; Sister-in-law, Annette Sharp of Olive Branch, MS; nieces, Kimberly Field of Hernando, MS and Stephanie Spencer of Oxford, MS; his nephews Kevin Sharp of Bartlett, TN and Matthew Sharp of Olive Branch, MS aunt Martha Hunter (Tom) of Millington, TN
There will be a private memorial service for family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dallas Sharp's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
