So very saddened to learn of this. David or "Bomar" to his friends was a true friend to everyone who allowed him to be.  We shared many good times during my time in Memphis. We worked hard and played hard. I never doubted that he had my back if needed. 

They dont make guys like him any more.

Memories of walking the wooden halls of Adamsville High School with this guy. Always smiling and fun to be around. 

When I first transferred to 'Scheduling' in the IT department, David was my first friend.  He helped me to learn how everything was organized up on the 9th floor. I didn't know a single person,  but I knew I could go to him if I had a question about anything.  He was always nice, always helpful and always had a smile. I don't recall Bomar ever saying a  bad word about anyone and I never heard of him doing anything mean  or hateful to another living sole.  He was just such a nice guy.  I was friends with both Debbie and  David before they ever got together as a couple. But when they did start dating,  I knew they were perfect for each other. David and Debbie were nice to everyone and everyone liked them.  They became  true friends to me.  David and I had very different opinions about a lot of things, but that never affected our friendship, and never altered our genuine respect for each other.   One of the last conversations we had was a frank and lively discussion of our very different political opinions.  And when I left,  it was with the understanding that we each knew the other was completely wrong in his/her respective political beliefs and that we would continue the argument next time we spoke.  A day or so after that visit,  I sent him a very politically incorrect politically themed card that did not support his position.  And when he got it he called me up right away to say he loved it.  He always took my ribbing him and questioning his sanity like the true friend he was.  It was an honor to call him my friend and I will miss him dearly.  Goodbye my sweet  hard headed friend.
