David Martin Ryon, 54, of Cordova, went to his heavenly home on Sunday, October 21, 2012. He is survived by, his loving wife and best friend of 35 years, Mary Ellen Ryon, two daughters, Wendy Ellen Echeverria and son-in-law Luis, and Emily Lynne Daniels and son-in-law Adam, seven grandchildren, Eduardo Martin, Ryon Joseph, Diego, Aubrey, and Livyah Echeverria, David Elijah and Susan Daniels, parents, Frankie Sue McKelvey and the late Robert Martin Ryon, and parents-in-law, Martha Horne and the late Aubrey Horne. He was a project manager at Plant Maintenance Service Corp. where he worked for 29 years in addition to a longtime member and a drummer in the praise band at Christ Church. He could fix anything as he was a master tinkerer. He loved the lake, history, and family time. He shared wisdom and self with the sincere heart of a servant. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 24 from 5-8pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. and the funeral on Thursday at 2pm followed by a graveside service at New Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery.
