Donald "Sam" Glover, age 90, of Bartlett, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. Donald was born May 20, 1931 in Kerrville, TN. Mr. Glover graduated Bartlett High School in 1950 and then joined the Air Force where he served four years as a flight engineer. After returning from the Air Force he went to work for DuPont where he worked for 35 years until his retirement. Sam enjoyed handyman work for his friends and family when they needed help. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and a 3rd Degree Mason.
Mr. Glover was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Ruby Glover, his son Donald Lee Glover, one granddaughter, Leslie Glover, and one sister, Betty Walker. Sam is survived by his wife Sandra Glover, his son, Ray Glover, one grandson, Dustin Glover, and one great grandson, Tanner Glover.
The family will receive friends for Donald will be held Monday, August 2, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Faith Baptist Church, 3755 N. Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Firefighters Burn Center, at Regional One or to Faith Baptist Church.
