Doris Bohannon Lovejoy, 84, of Memphis, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2011. The widow of I.W. Lovejoy, Mrs. Lovejoy is survived by her children, Sandy Armstrong of Bartlett, David Lovejoy of Munford and Paula (Joe) Gaydos of Drummonds; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, August 4 from 5-7 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, August 5 at the funeral home with private interment to follow in Memorial Gardens, formerly Memory Hill Gardens. Memorial gifts may be made to either the Ave Maria Greenhouse Project, the Alzheimer’s Foundation or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
