
Doris Jane Seward Wilson, 82, crossed into eternal life on November 16th. Longtime resident of Arlington, Tennessee, she was preceded in death by her husband James Milton Wilson and parents Clarence A. and Evelyn Conley Seward. She was a 50-year member of the Arlington Church of Christ, a 1948 graduate of Bartlett High School and was retired from State Technical Institute (Southwest).
She is survived by children Janet Wilson and Rick Phillips; Robbianne Wilson and R.L. Achelpohl all of Arlington; grandchildren Justin James Achelpohl and fiancé Beth Harker, and Wilson Corbitt Phillips all of Memphis; Sarah Jane and Scott Harris of Nashville; DeeDee and Brett Kruzan of Somerville; and Doug and Molly Phillips of Arlington. Great grandchildren include Talbot, Hayes and Elise Kruzan and Kate Phillips. She leaves one sister, Francis Clayton, of Tunica, Mississippi and her dear friend Janelle Alan of Braden, Tennessee.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 20th from 12 to 2 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home, 3700 N. Germantown Road, followed by a graveside service in Arlington Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the Arlington Cemetery Association, 11963 Brown Street, Arlington, Tennessee.
