

Edward James “Buddy” Farrell, Jr., 78, of Byhalia, MS, passed from this life Saturday, May 28, 2016 at the Brookdale Assisted Living Facility in Memphis. Buddy was born in Memphis, March 27, 1938 to the late Edward James Farrell, Sr. and Evelyn Klink Farrell. He was retired as Operations Manager from Constar Plastics of Collierville, a past member of Olive Branch Country Club and a member of the Catholic Church of the Incarnation in Collierville. Buddy is survived by his wife; Ruth Ann Farrell, daughters; Mary Evelyn Shindledecker (Russell), Maureen Long, Marjorie Smith (Terry), son; John Farrell (Tammi), sister; Mary John “Mimi” Trouy, brothers; Joe and Paul “P.D.” Farrell, grandchildren; Josh and Jake Long, Chuck Shindldecker and Spencer Smith. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a son in law; Steve Long and a great-grandaughter; Eleanor Long. Visitation will be 5pm – 7pm, Tuesday, May 31, 2016 with a Rosary at 7pm at Memphis Funeral Home on Germantown Parkway. A Funeral Mass will be 2pm, Wenesday, June 1, 2016 at St. Francis of Assissi Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Germantown Parkway.
