Erika Paige Yunkun

Erika Paige Yunkun, 12, of Collierville, died Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the Methodist Hospice Home. Erika loved school, soccer, golf, painting and drawing. She also loved to travel and go out to dinner. Her favorite food was either sushi or steak, blue was her favorite color. She was a student at The Bodine School and a member of 4-H. She was also a communicant at the Catholic Church of the Incarnation, Collierville. Erika is survived by her parents, Eric J. and Denise M. Yunkun; her maternal grandparents, Michael E. and Mary Patricia Zito; and her paternal grandmother, Edna M. Yunkun. She is survived by an uncle, great aunts & uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens 3700 N. Germantown Parkway, Bartlett on Monday, October 31, from 2 – 4 p.m.; and on Tuesday, November 1 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Rosary will be Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will take place at the Catholic Church of the Incarnation, Collierville at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2011. Entombment will be at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens on Germantown Parkway (formerly Memory Hill Gardens). The family wishes to have memorials sent to one of the following (3) charities.
