Gabbie “Evelyn” Beasley Langley, 81, went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, July 6, 2011. Evelyn was the loving wife of the late Billy Brown Langley. She will be greatly missed by her children, Billie Evelyn Langley Quinn and her husband, Michael, Michael Langley and his wife carol and Jeff Langley and his wife Dianne. She is beloved by 23 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She also leaves two brothers, David and Lynn Beasley and all of her extended family. Evelyn Truly exemplified the Proverbs 31 woman. “Her children will rise up and call her blessed,” Proverbs 31:28. The family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. on Saturday, July 9 with services immediately following at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Donations may be made to the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home. The family would like to thank the third floor nurses of Methodist North Hospital for their care and concern.
