Gail Straub Rogers

Gail Straub Rogers, 84, of Bartlett, Tennessee went to her heavenly home on Saturday, September 27, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born in Miami, Florida on November 7, 1940. She retired from Grisham Corporation in 1994 to help care for her grandchildren and spoil them. Gail was devoted to her family and was a faithful charter member of Faith Baptist Church. She loved being with her Sunday School class and spending time with her church family.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Straub and Albertina Straub. She was the widow of David Rogers, Sr. She is survived by her sons, David Rogers, Jr. (Wendi), Douglas Rogers (Penny) and Debbie Ward (Michael). She had three grandchildren that she adored with all her heart: D.J. Rogers (Amanda), Alex Ward, and Kalyn Harris (Mason), and one great grandchild, Kohen Rogers.

She was a member of the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA) throughout the 1970’s. She enjoyed watching football, basketball, and cheering for the Memphis Tigers, Miami Hurricanes, and the Dallas Cowboys.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, October 2nd from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, Tennessee 38133. Family and friends will also gather on Friday, October 3, from 1:00 pm until funeral services begin at 2:00pm all at Faith Baptist Church, 3755 N. Germantown Parkway. Interment will be at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens Cemetery, directly across the street from the church after the funeral.
