George Carlisle, 91, formerly of Vero Beach, passed away January 22, 2012 after a long illness. George was retired from General Motors. He was a graduate of Anderson High School class of 1938. He was a Captain in the Army Air Corps stationed in Italy during WWII. Mr. Carlisle is survived by Bonnie Chambers of Kissimmee, FL: David Carlisle of Bartlett, TN; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A private family service is planned.
