George H. Harris passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 17, 2014 after a short illness. He was a member of Oliver Creek Church of Christ. He leaves his wife Flonnie Harris; daughter, Diane Siegman and her husband, Stan Ray; granddaughter, Laura McIntosh and her husband Craig; and two precious great-grandchildren, Carlee and Bryson. He also leaves two sisters, Lorene Anthony and Lenora Anthony; and many nieces, nephews and friends. George was a retired supervisor at Memphis Furniture Manufacturing and Desoto Hardwood Flooring Co. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working in his yard and practical jokes he would laugh about for days. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of George’s life will be Monday, April 21 at 12 noon at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd.
