Georgia Marks McCaleb Price

Georgia Marks McCaleb Price, 83, of Bartlett, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2014. She was born in Waverly, TN to Merimann Bela and Grace Moore McCaleb, graduated from Tribble High School and is a member of Bartlett Baptist Church where she is active in the Kingdom Seekers Connect Group. Mrs. Price lived a Christian life and reared a family of three children who gave her six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, all of whom she adored. All of them, her husband and friends who loved her, will miss her greatly. Mrs. Price, the loving wife of William B. Price, for 58 years, is also survived by her children, Teresa Bullock (Bill) of Memphis, TN and Cyndi Hildebrand (Jeff) of St. Francisville, LA; grandchildren, Will Bullock and Price Bullock of Memphis, TN, Baxter Price of Starkville, MS, Emma Hildebrand, Anna Grace Hildebrand and Forrest Hildebrand, all of St. Francisville, LA; great-granddaughter, Ava Lee Hildebrand of St. Francisville, LA; sister, Jean Bethshears of Waverly, TN; and brothers, Jim McCaleb of Biloxi, MS and Nicky McCaleb of Southaven, MS. She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Baxter Price and her sisters, Naomi Waggoner, Pauline Stewart, Betty McNeil and a brother, Harold McCaleb. A celebration of Mrs. Price’s life will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 25 at Bartlett Baptist Church with the family receiving friends beginning at 11:30 a.m. Entombment will follow in Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd.
