Gertie Waddell Gray also known as; Ms. Gertie, Liz, and Aunt Liz, 93, of Olive Branch, MS., passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at her home. She was preceded in death by; her husband Frank L Gray, two daughters Susan McGavie and Joan Sloan, a sister Nina Waddell Meeks, two brothers P.D. Waddell and Denton Waddell, and her parents Grover and Ruby Waddell. Ms. Gray leaves behind two daughters, Jo Boyd and Jane Rodgers both of Olive Branch, MS., nine grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson on the way. Ms. Gray was a member at the Union Ave. Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 1-2pm and a Memorial service starting at 2pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd.
