Herbert Craig Harris, Sr. age 81 passed away from this life peacefully on Wednesday March 20th, 2024, surrounded by family. He was born on October 30, 1942, in Memphis, TN to Thomas Moultrie Harris and Mary Rosalie Kaiser Harris.
He is survived by wife Donna, sons Herbert “Craig” Harris Jr. (Wife Suzanne) Shannon Smith, Jason Smith(deceased). Daughters Teresa Marie Brown (Husband Larry), Angie Denman (Husband Chip), Chasidy Tinkle (Husband Alex) Grandchildren Christopher, Ashley, Raegan, Trey, Seth, Luke, Caitlynn, Nathan, and Bradlee. Great Grandchildren Nora, Gavin, Chloe, Elijah, and Maci. Sisters Velda Marie Eberwein, Rosemary Madden, Eunice Kuhnke, Sheila Jones. Brothers Thomas Harris (wife Brenda), Michael Harris (wife Arlene), David Jones (wife Susie) and Kenneth Jones (deceased).
Herbert lived with his wife Donna in Olive Branch, MS. an active and beloved member of Grace Church of the Nazarene. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather, with a contagious joy for life and generous spirit. Herbert loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed music, gardening, working at his home and at Brown Refrigeration. Herbert leaves many fond memories with all who knew and loved him. Together, we celebrate his life, resting assured that he has left this worldly home to live eternally in Heaven.
Herbert lived a life full of love, laughter, and kindness that touched the lives of everyone around him. He was known for his warm smile, gentle demeanor, and unwavering compassion towards others. His legacy of generosity and dedication will live on through those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday March 27th, 2024, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm with the funeral service and reception to follow at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens 3700 N. Germantown, Bartlett, TN 38133
