H.L. “Dusty” Adams, 82, of Reedley, California formerly of Memphis passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017. He was a contractor, a musician, loved day trading, an avid horse racing fan, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp and was involved with many different online retail businesses. Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Dalton Adams; brothers, Lloyd and Johnny Adams. He is survived by his children, Connie Belmontez (Fred) of Reedley, CA, Roger Adams of Oakland, TN and Alan Adams of Fresno, CA; grandchildren, Melanie Alvarado, Nick Belmontez, Christina Plascencia and Carolyn Peevey; brother, Dale Adams of Hoxie, AR; step-children, Sherry Belton and Jimmy Nolan; numerous step-grandchildren; and longtime friend, Harold Hatfield. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 21, 2017 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN.
