J K Sims, 89, of Memphis passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017. He was a retired barber after 72 years of service and a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII and the Korean War. Mr. Sims is survived by his wife of 30 years, Myra S. Sims; children, Andy Sims and Lisa Moore; six step-children; sisters, Lorene Maddox and Betty Cain; several grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 12:00 p.m., Friday, August 25, 2017 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN.
