James D. Glisson, Road Warrior, going the distance for the St. Jude Kids, died June 29, 2016 from ALS. Jim was a Veteran who started his young life off in the Air Force. His thirty years of teaching at Raleigh Egypt and eighteen years raising money for St. Jude gave him a rewarding life for 73 years. Jim is survived by his wife, two brothers, and two sisters. He was preceded in death by two sisters. Memorial services will be held at two o’clock the afternoon of Saturday, July 16 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, Tennessee.
