JAMES RICHARD LOFT, 82, of Bartlett passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Methodist Hospital Germantown. He was retired from Grace Chemical and from Arcadian Corporation in Memphis. He was a member of Bartlett Hills Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by sisters, Melba Payne and Alma Long. He is survived by daughter Lisa Payne (Barry) of Arlington, sons Mark Loft (Greta) of Memphis, and Bruce Loft (Lee) of Bartlett; sisters Mary Childress of Millington, Bettye Court of Bartlett, and Pat Pittman of Horn Lake; brothers Lowrey Loft of Millington and Phil Loft of Friendship; and seven grandchildren. The family will receive friends from noon-2pm on Tuesday, June 23 with the funeral beginning at 2pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. The burial will follow at Memorial Gardens.
