James Thomas Mitchell, age 83 and Patty Joyce Mitchell, age 80 both passed away together Monday, January 6, 2014 at their residence. James was a retired truck driver from Kimberly Clark and was a Mason and Patty was a homemaker. They were married for 64 years. Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell is survived by their children, Rebecca Joyce Riley, Cynthia Jane Starnes, Janet Lynn Oakes, James Anthony Mitchell, Jeffrey Thomas Mitchell, Donna Renee Gray and Melissa Carol Mitchell; 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. Mr. Mitchell is survived by his siblings, Catherine Ellington, Don Mitchell and Alma Lane. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until service time at 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN 38133.
