Jerry “Jake” D. Ferrell, 71, of Bartlett, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents L.D. and Addie Lee Ferrell. Mr. Ferrell is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Nita Ferrell, four children, Diann Leet, Jerry Keith Ferrell, Tina Orman and Leigh Ann Ferrell, 9 grandchildren, Jason Leet, Justin Leet, Brittany Cartwright, Kristin Leet, Tyler Goad, Meghan Orman, Jacob Ferrell, Jeremy Ferrell, and Alex Orman, and a sister Nancy French of Dexter, MO. Mr. Ferrell retired as a EMS Supervisor after 32 years at the Memphis Fire Department. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Thursday, June 13 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. and have a graveside service on Friday at 11am also at the funeral home.
