Mr. Harmon was born to the late Thomas “Tom” Harmon and Freda Harmon on February 1, 1953, in Paragould Arkansas. He and his family moved to Memphis, TN in 1965 and he graduated from Messick High School ’71 and Memphis State ’74. He was a member of Germantown Baptist Church.
Jerry is survived by his wife Norma of 52 years, his brother Eddie Harmon (Sandy), his children Tiffany Kelly (Fred) Nathan Harmon (AnAlecia), his grandchildren (Houston & Harmon Kelly and Lynley, Leah, and Lucas Harmon), and two nephews Brandon Harmon (Kassandra) and Daniel Harmon (Kara).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Georgia or the One Million Wells Organization.
Family will receive friends from 9 AM-10 AM on Monday, February 10 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Bartlett, TN. Service will follow at 10 AM.
