Jessie Lee Hardy, 74, of Memphis passed away Friday, May 26, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital-Memphis. She was a retired beautician, a bookkeeper for her late husband’s HVAC business, was an avid gardener and loved her dog of 17 years, Honey. Jessie was preceded in death by her husband, George M. Hardy; and her parents, Ernest and Irene Mitchell. She is survived by her aunt, Robbie Powell of Memphis; cousin and longtime caretaker, Sharon Williams of Memphis; her significant other, Norman “Gene” Perry of Memphis; and many other cousins. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2017 and a funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN.
