Jimmie Dick Scott, 85, of Bartlett, passed away on January 13, 2013. He was an Army Veteran, a Mason, a member of Faith Baptist Church, Bartlett, and a retiree from Kimberly Clark Corp. He was generous to others and greatly loved by his family and friends. He loved gardening, fishing, and traveling. He had a wonderful sense of humor. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Syble Scott; his step-son Chuck Smith and his wife Kathy; step-daughter Charlotte Smith of Santa Fe, NM.; a step-grandson, Brandon Scott Croft and his wife Meredith, step-great-grandson, Levi Croft, all of Boulder, CO.; 4 sisters, 3 brothers, numerous nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, any memorials may be donated to the American Cancer Society of Faith Baptist Church, Bartlett. A Memorial will be held at Faith Baptist Church, 3755 N. Germantown Rd. at 11am with a visitation one hour prior.
