Joe Thomas Hayes

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Linda Hayes, son John “Johnny” Booth, 5 grandchildren (Joe T. Booth, Tricia Lewis, Anastashia Wong, Victoria Burke, Jaquelyn Davis), cousin Douglas Mayfield and 10 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his mother Margaret Hayes and brother James Edward “Eddye” Hayes.

Joe served his country as a soldier for the US Army in Vietnam. A lifelong resident of Memphis, TN and the surrounding area, he also served his community for 16 years as a reserve officer on the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department.

Graveside services are scheduled at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens on Saturday, February 11th, 2023 at 11:00am.
