John Cory Hooker, of Memphis, Navy veteran and floor manager for Southland Greyhound Park, passed away and entered into Heaven on November 6, 2015, at the age of 48. He was preceded in death by his father Gerald R. Hooker. Cory leaves his mother; Joann Hooker Zink, three brothers Randy Hooker, Glen Hooker (Sue), and Brant Hooker who all loved him dearly. He also leaves a niece, two nephews, a great niece and a great nephew. He will be missed by all his family and friends. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, from 12:30pm, until service time at 2pm, with interment to follow, all to be held at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN 38133.
