John earned a Master of Education from Florida University. His professional journey began in the apparel industry, where he worked for several companies before transitioning to the marketing department at FedEx in Memphis. John dedicated many years to FedEx and retired from the company in June 2019.
In 2009, John survived a stroke, after which he continued to demonstrate remarkable resilience and a strong work ethic. He is remembered fondly for his kindness and generosity.
John is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Aida (Soky) Vondett; his son, Chad; granddaughter, Madison; and siblings Tim Vondette, Karen Bostedor, and Donna Presser.
