She was an avid gardener and a member of Crossroads Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Arthur Don Melton. She is survived by one daughter Mary (Bill) Jeter of Baltimore MD; a son Dale Melton of Memphis; one sister Mary Christine Knight of Big Creek, MS; by three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Melton will be conducted Friday, December 6, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Memphis Funeral Home, Germantown Parkway location. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Memphis Memory Gardens.
