Kenneth O. Dunn

Kenneth O. Dunn, 81, of Cordova, TN., originally from Peoria, IL., passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Methodist Hospice Care in Memphis, TN. He was born on June 11, 1933 in Princeton, IL. to Owen and Della Marie Dunn. He is survived by his wife Joyce McCullough Dunn. He was preceded in death by his previous wife Dorothy J. Dunn who passed in Peoria, IL. on November 7, 1999, his parents and siblings, Arthur and Ellen. Also surviving are two sons, Michael (Dottie) Dunn of O’Fallon, IL. and Steven (Sheila) Dunn of Atlanta, GA.; two grandchildren, Lindsey and Christopher Dunn, a step-daughter Cindy Franklin of IL., a step-son of Iowa, and sister Virginia Lenz of Mission, TX. Mr. Dunn was an employee of M.H. Equipment in Peoria in service and sales roles for more than thirty years before retiring. After retirement, he became an avid motorcycle enthusiast including numerous cross-country trips. He volunteered and was a Board Member of the Peoria Motorcycle Club for several years before relocating to the Memphis area. He had a lifelong passion for travel through the U.S. and historical sites, automobiles and motorbikes. There will be a Celebration of Life service on Tuesday, February 2nd at 6pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Bartlett, TN. 38133. Services in Peoria are pending.
