Larry Glenn Smith

Larry Glenn Smith, 67, of Mason, Tennessee passed away Wednesday morning, January 27, 2016. Mr. Smith was retired from Buckeye Cellulose where he worked for forty-three years. He was living in the cabin he had long-dreamed of building across the street from his sister. He loved to hunt and fish with his daughter, grandson, nephew, and friends. His grandchildren called him Grambo. He loved his Atlanta Braves and lived life on his own terms. He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Ann Smith and Debra Smith Wickliffe; his grandchildren, April Doty, Robin Doty, Dylan Wickliffe, and Jordan Wickliffe; his siblings, Don Smith, Betty Cowan and Shirley Ryland. He was preceded in death by his parents Cleve and Margaret Smith and his brother Ronnie. He is also survived by his nephews and nieces: Ronnie, Hether, Stacy, Hollie, Kelly, Nicole, John Michael, Erick, Michael Casey, and Daniel and his former wife Rosie Raley. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 30 at 9:30 a.m. until service time at 10:00 a.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN 38133.
