Margaret “Peggy” Rhodes, 81, of Bartlett, TN passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2011. She was born in Dublin, Ireland, was an R.N. with Decatur (AL) General Hospital and Methodist North Hospital in Memphis, and was also a former parishioner of St Ann Catholic Church in both Decatur, AL and Bartlett, TN. Mrs. Rhodes, the widow of James A. Rhodes, leaves her daughter, Catherine M. (Pat) Nalan of Bartlett; sons, James A. (Darlene) Rhodes, Jr. of Valle Mills, TX and Kevin C. Rhodes of Tullahoma, TN; sister, Catherine Lomberg of Cape Town, South Africa; brother, Thomas Dempsey of Millington, TN; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The family will receive friends this evening, Saturday, April 16 from 5-7 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Funeral services will be Sunday afternoon, April 17 at the funeral home with interment to follow in Bethuel Cemetery in the Kerrville Community, near Millington, TN.
