MARTHA F. BOOTHE, 73, formerly of Memphis, TN, retired teachers aid for Prentiss County, MS and member of Berclair Baptist Church, died June 28, 2011 at Baptist Memorial Hospital- Memphis. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Wednesday, June 29 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, Bartlett, TN, and from 12 p.m. until service at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 30 at New Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church, Tishomingo, MS. Burial in New Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Tishomingo, MS. She leaves her husband of 57 years, Rufus Boothe of Booneville, MS; one daughter, Phyllis Higginbotham of Bartlett; grandchildren, Angela Higginbotham Whitten, Michelle Higginbotham Wheeler and T.J. Higginbotham; great-grandchildren, Tristen Paul Whitten, Tensley Faith Whitten and Austin Ray Wheeler. Memorials can be made to New Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church.
