

Martha Paul Manns, a beloved resident of Atoka, Tennessee, passed away on December 17, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on March 4, 1939, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Raymond and Georgia Clymer, both of whom predeceased her.
Martha graduated from Kingsbury High School and married Thomas Edward Manns Sr. in 1957, sharing a loving marriage until his passing in 1999. Together, they had two children, Thomas Manns Jr. and Vickie Manns Shaw. Martha is survived by her daughter Vickie Shaw and son-in-law Darrell, two grandchildren, Renee Fox and her husband Jeff, and Wesley Shaw, as well as five great-grandchildren: Aubree Shaw, Dylan Shaw, Easton Shaw, Isabell Shaw, and Cohwen Rodgers. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Edward Manns Sr., her son, Thomas Manns Jr., and her parents.
The family requests that any donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of her.
Martha was known for her kind-hearted, humorous, and hard-working nature. She worked for Hunter Fan Company in Memphis, Tennessee, until its closing in 2002, serving as a Receiving Clerk and then also a Union Junior Shop Steward. After retiring, she enjoyed doing demos for food companies in retail. Martha was passionate about the Dallas Cowboys Football Team and adored her pets, especially her Chihuahua "Champ" and her napping buddy "Precious Hope."
Her love for her grandchildren was evident in the time she spent with them, coloring, doing puzzles, and playing games. Martha leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories for her family and friends.
The family will receive friends, Saturday, December 27th 2025, 12pm until service time at 2pm. Burial will follow at 3pm with food and fellowship 3:30 until 5:00 pm all at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett, TN 38133
