Mary Cathryn Bethay, 90 of Cordova, TN, retired travel agent for AAA, passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017. She played the organ and taught Sunday school at Immanuel Baptist Church in Olive Branch, MS. Mrs. Bethay also loved to sing, square dance, and cook for her family. She was preceded in death by two loving husbands Rev. James Gordon Lott Jr., and MSgt Julian P Bethay US Air Force Ret. Mrs. Bethay is survived by her daughters Linda Lee, Beverly Wauer, Edna Burns, Julia Keith, Teresa Ciarloni, Annette Hickerson, a son, James Lott, a sister Sally Vance, two brothers John and William Cason, over 20 grandchildren and over 18 great grandchildren. The family request any memorials be sent to the Susan G. Komen foundation.
