Mary Elizabeth Gamble, 83, of Memphis passed away peacefully at her home Monday, April 24, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was a homemaker, a member of Memorial Baptist Church-Memphis and loved to cook making the best cakes and pies you ever tasted. Mrs. Gamble was a simple woman and loved her family dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Gamble, Sr. and daughter, Christine Holden. Survived by her six children, Eddie Gamble of Munford, Ernest Gamble of Memphis, Betty Burk of Memphis, Earnestine Huntington of Memphis, Mary Walker of Munford and Kathy Derick of Memphis; as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN
