Mary Ruth Smith

She was born to the late Oscar and Mary Essary on April 30th, 1939 in Milan, Tennessee. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Oscar Rice Essary, Jr., Franklin Essary; half-brothers, Leslie Essary, Dwayne Essary; and her sister, Margaret Martin.

Mary is survived by her husband of 60 years, Charles Smith; her daughter, Lisa Pritchett (Kem); son, Timothy D. Smith (Kelly J.); grandchildren, Hunter Charles Shinall, Megan Nicole Legett (Josh), Fisher Timothy Smith, Bayley Jan Smith; and her brother, Ray Essary.

Family will receive friends from 9:00am to 10:00am on Thursday, February 24th at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd, Bartlett, TN. Services will follow at 10:00am.
