

Mary Lynne Easley Tyler age 83, of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away peacefully, October 5, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on August 25, 1942, in Calhoun City, Mississippi. In her early twenties, Mary moved to Memphis, where she met and married the love of her life, Milton Glenn Tyler. Together they raised three children—Allison Lee, Paul Tyler, and Greg Tyler.
Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband Glenn and her son Paul. Her memory lives on through her daughter Allison Lee, son Greg Tyler, four grandchildren Jamie Redd, Jennifer Porter, Shae Long, and Michael Lee, and five great-grandchildren Bennett Redd, Baker Redd, Rhett Porter, Tatum Porter, and Reeves Long.
Mary worked as a bookkeeper for Three States Supply Company until her retirement in her mid-60s. She will be remembered for her love of family, her joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her fondness for music, casino trips, and her charming collection of owls.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 1:00–2:00 p.m., followed by her funeral service at 2:00 p.m. and immediately after, the graveside service at 3:00 p.m. All services will take place at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN 38133.
Mary’s warmth, humor, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
