Milton Leroy Owen

Milton Leroy Owen, born on December 15, 1942, in Memphis, Tennessee, passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 82. A resident of Piperton, Tennessee, Lee was known for his generous, hard-working, selfless, and adventurous spirit.

Lee was the owner of Lee Owen Plumbing before his retirement. His commitment to his work and community was evident through his membership at Kirk Baptist Church. Beyond his professional life, he was a man who enjoyed life to the fullest, known for his kindness and generosity, always ready to embark on an adventure at a moment's notice.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Elaine Owen, and daughter, Becca Owen. He also leaves behind his brother, Robert Owen, two stepsons, Shane Carpenter and Jeromy Carpenter (Laura), grandchildren Ashley, Whitney, and Abbie, step-grandchildren Thomas (Brittany), Riley, and Colt, as well as great-grandchildren Johnny, Sophia, Aubree, and Jake. Lee was preceded in death by his late wife, Linda Owen, his parents, James and Elizabeth Owen, brother Jimmy Owen, daughter Michelle Cox, son Christopher Owen, and grandson Corey Cox.

A visitation will be held on December 9, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, located at 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm, with a committal service at 3:00 pm at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Lee's honor to Kirk Baptist Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
