A mighty woman of valor, virtue, moral standard, spirit of excellence and great bravery, Nancy fought the fight with cancer with great courage. She was fearless facing the battle of pain, agony, and uncertainty with courage like no other. Nancy was our rock and biggest supporter. She was smart, creative, kind, ambitious, immaculate, loving, selfless, caring, persistent, stubborn, nurturing, a mentor, fun, and courageous.
Nancy was the matriarch of the Chapman family and took pride in taking care of the whole family guiding them through life’s challenges and accomplishments. The family referred to her simply as “Nanny.” Over the years, she was not only an excellent homemaker, artist, chef, and gardener but she also helped run the farming business as well as the family commercial real estate business. She was an expert in making homemade candy jams, jellies, cakes, and especially her signature homemade spaghetti sauce. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
