Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 1, 2018 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens located at 3700 N. Germantown Pkwy, Bartlett,TN 38133.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday October 2, 2018 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens with Dr. Buck of Mt. Carmel Cumberland Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will follow the funeral services at the same location. Arrangements are by Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens.

John was born in Laconia, Tennessee on June 5, 1932. He was married to Arty Kelley until her passing. He was a veteran of The United States Air Force. John also worked for General Electric where he was a mechanic and later retired.

John is preceded in death by his mother and father; his brother Jimmy Kelley; his wife Arty Kelley; two sons Donnie and Mark Kelley; and a daughter Debbie (Kelley) Springer.

John is survived by his son, John Kelley of Bartlett, TN; daughter, Linda Burt of Bremerton, WA: his brother, Mark Kelley of Oakland, TN: his grandchildren, Randy (Courtney) Springer of Oakland, TN; Dawn (Paul) Petty of Munford, TN; James (Molly) Springer of Bartlett, TN; Elizabeth Kelley-Quinones of Deland, FL; Brandon Burt, Isaiah Burt and Sean Burt of Bremerton, WA and Great-Grandchildren Maggie Jo Springer, Noah and Barbara Jean Petty, Aiden Bailey, Elizabeth Pannell, Emmitt Springer and Madison Moss.
