He was the only son of Oscar A. & Nina Meek who preceded him in death.
Attended Treadwell High School and retired as a Tool & Die maker. Oscar leaves his wife of 62 years, Lora Vogel Meek, 2 sisters Betty Legg and Laura Patillo, 4 Children, Lanie Faulkner (Jacky), Ray Meek Jr. (Alison), Tommy Meek (Paula), and Sherri Stone (Dana), 10 grandchildren Jamie, Romney, Kyle, Chris, Brett, Hannah, Kayla, David, Emma, and Aidan, 1 great-grandchild Mason. He was preceded in death by his sister Edna Coles.
Visitation will be at 2 pm with a Memorial Service at 3 pm Friday July 28, 2017 at the Outpouring Church in Olive Branch, MS.
Interment will be a private service at a later date.
