Paul Glenn Fitzgerald Jr., 76, of Bartlett, Tennessee, passed away on January 24, 2026. He was born on August 27, 1949, in Memphis, Tennessee. A graduate of Kingsbury High School, class of 1967, Glenn was a longtime vocalist and guitarist for several Memphis-based bands and taught guitar, bass, and ukulele to students of all ages for many years until his passing.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Paula Fitzgerald; his three children, Stephanie Holmes (Wayne), Paul Glenn Fitzgerald III, and Rachel Owens (Patrick); his ten grandchildren, Matthew Holmes, Wesley Holmes, Taylor Fitzgerald, Lauren Fitzgerald, Aidan Fitzgerald, Parker Owens, Jenna Owens, Emma Owens, Eli Owens, and Ethan Owens; and his two great‑granddaughters, Charlotte Holmes and Wrenlee Holmes. He is also survived by his sister, Nancy Smith (Marvin).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Glenn Fitzgerald Sr. and Pansy Fitzgerald, and by his brother, Allen Fitzgerald.
A celebration of life will be held on February 21, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Road, Bartlett, TN 38133.
