

Pauline Reed, 88, of Memphis, a devoted mother and grandmother died peacefully on May 15, 2014. Pauline loved gardening and was known for growing beautiful roses. Her main goal in life, however, was to live for her Lord and she exhibited His love to all who met her. She was a long-time member of First Assembly of God Church. Her family knew her love and strength in a special way and she will be sorely missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Reed, and by a beloved daughter and her husband, Faye and Tony Montgomery. She is survived by her three children, Betty Smith (David), Christine Johanson (Karl), John Reed (Barbara). Each of her nine grandchildren, their spouses, and eighteen great grandchildren will forever remember her care and love. Pauline is also survived by two sisters, Kathleen Robins and Lillian Woody (Graper) and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Sunday, May 18, 2014 and a funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 19, 2014 both at Memphis Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd., Bartlett, TN. Memorials may be sent to a charity of the donor’s choice.
