Thomas Ray O'Daniel, 76, of Somerville, TN passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2016. The family will receive guests from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 9 at the funeral home with interment to follow in Memorial Gardens.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents, William and Grace O’Daniel, his sister, Ann Beck, Maida W. O’Daniel and Cadence Box. He is survived by his wife, Brenda O’Daniel; daughters Cindy (Craig) Thompson, Sandy Murphree, Suzy O’Daniel; his grandchildren, Rachel (Daniel) Roberts and Nate (Bridgette)Thompson; his great-grandson, Wyatt Roberts; his stepchildren Brandy Shelton and Tim Bell; his step grandchildren Jerry Dexter, Ceara Shelton, Jamie Shelton and Rylee Evans. After 34 years with the Walgreens Company, Ray retired and enjoyed playing golf, fishing and hunting. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Lebonheur Children's Hospital.
