After graduating from high school, Allen attended floral design school at Ramsey’s Flower Shop, where he discovered a lifelong passion for creating beautiful arrangements. He worked in the floral industry for more than 30 years, spending much of his career at Lynn Doyle Flowers before retiring.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister, Paulette Caldwell; his niece, Christie Edwards (Jay); his nephew, Kevin Caldwell (Paula); his great nieces and great nephew, Chelsie, Mallory, and Tony; and his great great nephews, Easton, Tyler, and Oliver. He also leaves behind four cousins—Ricky, Teresa, Gale, and Becky—along with many friends who loved him.
Allen will be remembered for his creativity, kindness, and gentle spirit. He will forever be in our hearts, and we will miss him more than words can express.
