Raymond C. Wolfe, 88, of Memphis, passed away at his home on Friday, April 1, 2011. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in Europe in WWII and a faithful member of Bartlett Hills Baptist Church. Mr. Wolfe, the widower of Hazel Wolfe, leaves a daughter, Norene Logan; son, Alan Wolfe (Joyce); four grandchildren, Angela Logan, Brandi Norris (Michael), Sloan Cooper (Jennifer) and Candace Lockhart (Charles); and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his 3 brothers, Elvin, Cedric and Maurice Wolfe. Funeral services and interment will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 5 at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 N. Germantown Rd. Visitation will begin at noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to either Bartlett Hills Baptist Church or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
