

Renae was born on April 27, 1956, in Turtle Lake, North Dakota, and grew up in McClusky, North Dakota. While North Dakota is where her story began, Memphis became the place she truly called home.
In 1981, she married the love of her life, Rick Roberts, and together they built a life filled with love, loyalty, and partnership.
Renae was the proud owner of Boulevard Souvenirs and a devoted Elvis fan. Through her store, she welcomed visitors from all over the world and shared her love for Memphis & Elvis with everyone she met.
She was incredibly proud of her son, Ron Roberts, and was a devoted supporter of Special Olympics Greater Memphis, a cause that held a special place in her heart.
Renae was also a passionate Memphis Tigers and Grizzlies fan who loved cheering on her teams. She had a big personality, a generous heart, and a special way of making people feel like family the moment they met her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elsie and Herbert Vietz.
Renae is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Rick Roberts; her son, Ron Roberts; and her siblings, Leslie Vietz, Lauren Vietz, Lenny Vietz, Carol Brown, Kathy Reinke, and Debbie Castleberry, along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Renae will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
At the request of her son, Ron, the family asks that everyone wear either Memphis Tigers gear or Hawaiian shirts in honor of Renae on the 28th. She also loved flowers of all kinds. In lieu of other gifts, donations may be made to Special Olympics Greater Memphis
Visitation will be held at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38133, US, on March 28, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm with Memorial Service following at 2:00 pm.
